Ideas Intermingle

On August 4, 2017, my co-facilitators and I were completing the last day of a leadership academy in Bangalore, India with a group of fourteen thoughtful, energetic, and talented people. As I watched the group collaboratively interact together in pursuit being inspiring leaders, the beauty of the experience compelled me to write the following poem.

An innocent joy

Filled with curiosity

Shines with radiant colors.

It compels us to discovery.

Ideas intermingle

In a weave of hope.

Yours, mine, together

Shared with ego free edge.

Why? Our hearts beat

To the rhythm of feeling valued,

Experiencing community, and

Living with purpose.

I hope you are inspired today to lead with curiosity, edge, and purpose.
